Def Leppard and Motley Crue played a show on The World Tour 2023 last night in Hollywood, FL with 17 songs performed.
The show took place at the 7,000 capacity Hard Rock Live.
A third Intimate show during The World Tour 2023.
The fourth time at this venue.
A final extra show after the South American run.
A Safe Landing
So having successfully navigated their way around South America, through high altitudes, and a triumphant last show in Argentina, what could go wrong?.
Landing gear failure on the Def Crue jet, a fuel dump and a return to Buenos Aires for repairs.
But, as the lack of "Death Crue" pun headlines suggest, they managed to navigate this little hiccup and make their way to Miami.
Phew!.
Getting Rocked In Florida
Back in the USA and in this part of Florida for the first time since the wet start to The Stadium Tour in June 2022 in Miami and Orlando.
No worries this times as this was another indoor show.
And much like Atlantic City, still a large stage within the smaller venue on which to rock the Florida crowd.
And so they did, getting things underway as ever with 'Take What You Want' at around 9:10pm Eastern Standard Time.
The band were in a good mood and so were the crowd and another great performance followed.
Joe informing the crowd that they were in fact witnessing the end of the South American tour, but they wanted to pay them a little visit on the way home.
The well oiled machine that is Def Leppard followed the opening song with hit after hit and the new songs from 'Diamond Star Halos'.
The crowd were enjoying the show inside the venue and thanks to some of them with cameras fans around the world also got enjoy the show online.
End Of Tour Leg One
A triumphant finale to the show as 'Rock Of Ages' led into 'Photograph' and the final moments of the tour came closer.
As Joe said thanks to the crowd at the end the band posed for a photo facing the crowd.
And the tenth performance of the 2023 tour ended.
11 if you count the private show in Las Vegas, NV in January.
A taste of what's to come for the UK, Europe and a few more US stadiums later this year.
And on some yet-to-be-announced dates elsewhere in Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
Setlist
The 17 song setlist was played once again.
Back In Hollywood, Florida
The band's first show in Hollywood since March 2008 on the Songs from The Sparkle Lounge tour.
That show was the band's third time at this same venue.
Hard Rock Live was also played in 2006 and 2005.
That first visit to Hollywood, FL took place in May 1983 at the Hollywood Sportatorium on the Pyromania tour.
That venue was then played again for an In The Round show in December 1987 on the Hysteria tour.
The next Def Leppard show takes place on 22nd May in Sheffield, England.
