Def Leppard and Motley Crue's The World Tour 2023 UK and Ireland stadium and festival dates are now on general sale.

The World Tour 2023 starts in Mexico City on 18th February 2023.

This first leg features 8 shows in outdoor stadiums across Central and South America.

The second leg starts in Sheffield in late May and runs to early July with 20 stadiums, arenas and/or festivals to be played across the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Tickets are now on general sale as of 10am this morning for the UK and Ireland shows.

This follows three days of Pre Sales.

Tickets can now be bought for the largest UK headline shows of the bands career.

Including shows at the national stadiums of England and Scotland.

Plus the band's return to its starting place of Bramall Lane in Sheffield near their old rehearsal space at the stadium of Joe's football team Sheffield United.

Tickets already went on sale for the Lytham Festival a few days ago which the band will be visiting for the very first time.

Joe spoke about the tour on his Planet Rock radio show last weekend following it's announcement.

Wembley Stadium Advertising

Wembley Stadium posted a photo last night show the tour's poster and artwork being displayed on the venues outer video screen.

The massive arch was lit up in blue.

Rick posted a separate photo of his own on Instagram.

Floor Seats

As you may have noticed on the temporary seating chart for Wembley Stadium there are seats shown on the floor of the venue.

That chart is in fact the real one being used for this show and for the first time in a very long time there will be seats on the floor for a UK Def Leppard show.

The pitch area of UK stadiums usually has standing/general admission but not for this show.

The last time there were floor seats for a major UK show was actually back in April 1988 for the first two shows at Wembley Arena before that venue introduced standing the following year.

Just in time for Motley Crue's first performance there.
