Def Leppard 2022
Def Leppard released the KICK promo video from the album Diamond Star Halos on this day in 2022.
The 'Diamond Star Halos' album was announced on 17th March and then released on Friday 27th May 2022.
The single 'Kick' was released on the same day and the promo video released on 25th March 2022.
The video was directed by Anuk Rohde, a female director, who was apparently 7 months pregnant during this shoot.
It was filmed on 8th February 2022 in Ely, near Cambridge, in England at the Ken Fox Troupe Wall Of Death.
Ken Fox Troupe have performed with the Wall Of Death motorcycle stunt show since 1975.
As seen in the video the wall is billed as 'The Most Sensational Attraction In The World!'.
The circus like feel of the video is reminiscent of the classic 'Animal' promo which was filmed near Amsterdam in May 1987.
It sees the band performing inside the wall of death along with scenes of the performers/extras and a motorcyclist riding the wall.

Joe spoke briefly about making some "videos" for the new album recently in the UK during the Joe Elliott show on Planet Rock.

As you can see from this video of the Ken Fox Troupe YouTube channel Def Leppard are not the only band to have filmed inside the Wall Of Death and it was also used by BBC One for its title sequence.
Former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher's old band Beady Eye filmed their video for The Roller in the same place in 2011.
