DEF LEPPARD In SAN ANTONIO, TX On THE STADIUM TOUR 2022 (Show Report/Setlist)

Def Leppard played show number 27 of The Stadium Tour in San Antonio, TX last night with 17 songs performed.
The show took place at the 70,000 capacity Alamodome.
The first visit to San Antonio since August 2018 on the Journey co-headline tour.
The 16th show by the band in this city and first time at this venue.
The first visits were in June 1980 on their debut American tour for two shows with both Judas Priest and Ted Nugent/Scorpions.
The first stadium show played in San Antonio.
Many outdoor shows were played here at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater and the legendary Walmart promo show in 1999 to promote the release of 'Euphoria'.
Show #27 - Second Show In Texas
33C temps before show time but no weather would affect this show in another huge venue that holds over 50,000 for end stage concerts.
The show started at 7:30pm and the now familiar "rock" set was played starting off with the one two punch of 'Take What You Want' and 'Let It Go'.
Another loud crowd and Joe once more exclaimed at the end "Unbelievable!" as the band took their final bows.
The second of three shows in Texas was another major success with the third to follow tonight.
Indoor Show/Staging Change
Like many of the recent shows this one was also an indoor gig but no retractable roof here.
As was the case in the days of the legendary In The Round staging, the lighting and screens were hung from the ceiling at this venue.
The now familiar outdoor festival style stage structure was not used but the show looked exactly the same as ever as seen in the the pics and videos.
Rick Allen On The Mend
Rick Allen posted another pre-show video from the tour bus and said he was feeling much better.
He had revealed some stomach problems had affected him before the Houston show but has now improved. Sav had also referenced a couple of band members feeling 'under the weather' on his own IG posts but show goes on as usual.
Everyone seemed well enough on stage and in good spirits.
