DEF LEPPARD In LOS ANGELES, CA On THE STADIUM TOUR 2022 (Show Report/Setlist)

Def Leppard played show number 30 of The Stadium Tour in Los Angeles, CA last night with 17 songs performed.
The show took place at the 70,000 capacity SoFi Stadium.
The first visit to Los Angeles since May 2022 when a promo show was played at Whisky A Go Go.
The first proper live show played since November 2019.
The 14th show by the band in Los Angeles and first time at this venue.
The first visit here was for two nights at the LA Forum in September 1983 on the Pyromania tour.
The second night being famous for the guest appearance of Brian May with the show eventually being officially released in 2009 on the 'Pyromania Deluxe Edition'.
The 2018 shows here saw the band play two nights at the LA Forum now known as KIA Forum.
A venue Joe and Phil will return to in a months time to play as temporary members of the Foo Fighters at the second Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert.
And a venue sitting just across a car park from this massive new stadium which had yet to be finished when this tour was first announced in late 2019.
Show #30 - La La Land
Back in Los Angeles after the promo show at the Whisky A Go Go in May but this time at a massive stadium.
The band were back to playing at 7:30pm following two closing slots in Arlington and Glendale (Phoenix).
Another loud crowd for show #30 of The Stadium Tour in the home land of Motley Crue.
They got to close but not before Def Leppard played to their biggest audience ever in Los Angeles.
The massive crowd singing along for the whole show as the band played the now well rehearsed "rock" set.
Two "closing" shows now follow in San Diego and Seattle - later tonight in fact!.
Hi Tech Stadium/Video Screen
For 5 billion dollars and one of the most expensive stadium builds in history you would expect it to be impressive.
It's fair to say SoFi Stadium is quite impressive! As seen in the photos.
Featuring a transparent LED roof which stretches over the top of the NFL stadium inside.
The free-standing roof can show images and messages and hovers above and around the stadium below.
Held up by "37 massive earthquake-resistant columns.".
And inside 70,000 seats and an Infinity Screen which hangs from the roof featuring massive ovular double-sided video board with 4K HDR screens.
Weighing 2.2 million pounds and displaying 80 million pixels.
And if that wasn't enough video content there are four video advertising boards stretched around the stadium and between the four tiers of seating.
A little bit bigger than the Whisky A Go Go venue played in May in the same city!.
Indoor/Outdoor Show
The roof has gap at either end letting in cool sea air and is designed to make the venue both indoor and outdoor.
