DEF LEPPARD In ARLINGTON, TX On THE STADIUM TOUR 2022 (Show Report/Setlist)

Def Leppard played show number 28 of The Stadium Tour in Arlington, TX last night with 17 songs performed.
The show took place at the 40,300 capacity Globe Life Field.
The first visit to Arlington in the band's 42 years of touring the USA.
The first visit to the Dallas area since playing in Dallas in August 2018 on the Journey co-headline tour.
The 20th show by the band in the Dallas area and first time at this venue.
Arlington is 20 miles West of Dallas.
The first visit to Dallas was in June 1980 at the Reunion Arena on their first American tour.
Show #28 - Last Night In Texas
A brief 10 minute delay to the start of the show before Classless Act got things started as usual.
A massive crowd of over 40,000 fans were already in place as Poison played their set but not quite dark enough yet for another "lighters" moment during 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn'.
The first of two shows with Def Leppard closing during this last run of shows also ended their brief stay in Texas.
Arlington, Dallas and Fort Worth all being name checked by Joe.
Another 9:30pm start and they sounded in superb form again as 'Take What You Want' started another great night of "rock".
Yes there was rock, as Rick says, and they rocked Arlington down to the ground.
Full Show Broadcast
The entire show was filmed and streamed live on Facebook.
Probably the longest fan filmed live stream since the days of Periscope (remember that?).
The band sounded on top form throughout their 90 minute set with a very loud crowd singing along.
Joe once again noted the massive crowd with - "Is anybody out there?. Are you f**king kidding me!" before 'Foolin''.
Indoor Show
Another indoor show on this second leg with the massive retractable roof closed.
Storms in the local area earlier in the day and early evening had no chance of affecting Def Leppard's set.
Joe's voice perhaps started to sound a little bit strained during Photograph after two nights in a row.
But fortunately he now has two days rest before they resume in Arizona.
Even though some of the band have been feeling bad in the last few days you once again would not have realised if you were a casual fan unaware of this.
And of course at the next show there will be a reason for celebration for one band member who plays guitar.
The first Def Leppard birthday show for Vivian since 2018 and a big one as he is about to turn 60.
