Def Leppard 2023

Def Leppard release a new album called Drastic Symphonies on 19th May and here is a deeper look at the different versions and tracklistings.

The new album Drastic Symphonies will be released on Friday 19th May.

Joe announced the album live on BBC Radio 2 during the Zoe Ball Breakfast Show earlier this morning and shared exciting news of possible live shows and a new residency tied in to the album.

The album will feature 16 classic Def Leppard songs reworked and reimagined with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London.

The first single 'Animal' was also released today on digital and streaming services.

The album is released on various formats including CD, vinyl, digital, streaming and as a Blu-ray audio disc.

'Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad' will be the bonus track on the Blu-ray disc that comes with the 1CD/Blu-ray version.

It is also listed on the regular CD versions in Japan as the obligatory Japan Only Bonus Track and also as Track 13 (as well as being on the Blu-ray disc).

The Japanese market also sees the album released in the usual SHM-CD format.

The band will also do an album singing event at HMV in Sheffield on 20th May (which has already sold out).
