Def Leppard were interviewed in August 1987 as the Hysteria album was released and they broke through in their homeland.

Smash Hits magazine interviewed the whole band in August 1987.

The album was about to hit the Number One spot in the UK charts on the back of a Top Ten single with 'Animal'.
