Also on this day in 2003 the band played their second London show of the year at Hammersmith Odeon. Queen guitarist Brian May joined the band on stage for the fourth time to perform the classic 'Tie Your Mother Down' as the final encore. Rick Allen's mother appeared onstage to present him with a cake for his 40th birthday (1st November 2003) as the crowd sang to him.
