20 Years Ago JOE ELLIOTT Angry At DEF LEPPARD's Kelowna Show (Video)

Def Leppard played a show in Kelowna, BC, Canada on 10th January 2000 during the Euphoria tour and video is available.

The show took place at the Skyreach Place Arena.

The very first time the band had played in this city.

The band's first impression of Kelowna was somewhat tainted as Phil Collen had many personal items stolen from the tour bus outside the venue.

The items reportedly worth $5000 included family videos and photos featuring his wife Jackie and son Rory.

Joe was not in a good mood at the start of the show and took out his frustration as 'Women' started.

He directed his anger towards sections of the crowd who were sat down at the sides of the venue. Taking off his tiger skin jacket, throwing it down on the stage and then jumping into the photo pit as he gestured to the crowd to get up of out their seats.

This was all captured by a fan filming the show. Joe's little walkabout caused the intro for 'Women' to be extended with Vivian and Phil throwing a few extra guitar riffs in.

He later explained to them what had happened before the show.

Some of the items were later returned to Phil.

Joan Jett & The Blackhearts were the opening act for this show.
