DEF LEPPARD News Round Up (27th January-2nd February 2020)

A round up of Def Leppard News with links to stories and updates from this week in the band's history.
A week where Vivian Campbell was back n the studio with Last In Line and the box set was confirmed.
The Early Years 79-81 Box Set
The Early Years 79-81 box set was confirmed this week for a 20th March release.
It will contain five discs that include the first two studio albums, the Oxford 1980 live show, B-Sides, BBC Session recordings and live tracks from Reading 1980.
In addition the first two albums are also reissued separately on the same day on CD and black vinyl.
Two limited editions of these albums will also be released on blue vinyl (for OTTN) and red vinyl (for HND).
Las Vegas/Hysteria Tour DVD/2020 Vision
Joe Elliott was interviewed earlier this week and once again gave away some interesting news about upcoming releases.
He confirmed that the Sin City Residency DVD/Blu-ray would be released "soon" but also said the package will feature the 2018 Hysteria tour show filmed in London.
The December 2018 show at the O2 Arena was filmed alongside the final two nights of the residency in September 2019.
The double DVD/Blu-ray package will form part of the 2020 Vision series of video releases Joe said will come out "throughout" this year.
The Stadium Tour
A 31st show in Jacksonville, FL was added to the tour this week for June and will now be the opening night.
The press release for the show at TIAA Bank Field stadium also revealed the bands will rehearse there and at the nearby VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena prior to the tour starting on 18th June.
Last In Line Third Album Recording
Vivian Campbell and his Last In Line band mates began recording their third studio album this week in California.
Video updates and photos were posted online from the studio in North Hollywood.
Vivian had said in late 2019 that the album would be recorded in January/February but may not be released until late 2020.

The 31st anniversary of the 'Rocket' UK single release in 1989 took place this week.
