The band performed twice on Steve's birthday. In 1979 when he turned 19 and again in 1980 on his 20th. Steve sadly passed away in January 1991 during the recording of the 'Adrenalize' album.

The band went on to perform three more times on this date after his death in 1997, 2008 and 2015.
