On This Day in Def Leppard History - 2nd October, the following concerts and events took place. Including the UK release of the single 'When Love & Hate Collide' 24 years ago on this day in 1995.

The first and only single taken from the 'Vault Greatest Hits 1980-1995' album which reached number 2 in the UK Top 40 singles chart.

Also on this day in 1999 the band played a show in Tokyo, Japan during the Euphoria tour.

The show was filmed and broadcast in full at Christmas by WOWOW TV. The only full length pro shot concert recording from the 1999/2000 tour.

Phil Collen's band Manraze played their first public show in the USA on this day in 2011 promoting their 'punkfunkrootsrock' album. They had previously only played a private show in Burbank during 2008. Sadly it turned out to be the only show they played to promote the album and the last to be played by the band.
