DEF LEPPARD's JOE ELLIOTT On BBC Radio 2 Sounds Of The 70s On 20th October

Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott has been scheduled to appear on the BBC Radio 2 show Sounds Of The 70s.

Joe will be the special guest on the Sunday 20th October edition of the 'Sounds Of The 70s' show with host Johnnie Walker.

It is broadcast on BBC Radio 2 from 3 to 5pm.

The show will be available to listen to worldwide.

Joe will be talking about some of his favourite music from the 70s.

The appearance is part of the current promotion for the Down 'n' Outz. album 'This Is How We Roll' due out on 11th October.

The fourth new track from the album called Goodnight Mr. Jones was released on Friday 4th October. A tribute to the late great David Bowie.

Joe was also a guest of Johnnie's in December 2018 on The Radio 2 Rock Show.

"Formed in 1977 in Sheffield, Def Leppard were part of the new wave of British heavy metal movement, releasing their first EP in 1979 which featured the singles Ride Into The Sun and Wasted. They would go on to release 11 original studio albums, two live albums, four compilation albums, one cover album, and two more EPs over the band's 40 year career."

"Also on the show, Johnnie adds another record to Johnnie's Jukebox and hears the stories from This Week In Music in the 70s."
