Def Leppard 2019 Tour Ends In Sacramento
The band played their final show of 2019 in Sacramento, CA at Toyota Amphitheatre.
16 songs were performed at the last concert of a tour which began in June at the Sweden Rock Festival. A show organised to celebrate the grand opening of a new Hard Rock Hotel & Casino complex near the venue.
Rarely played songs 'Too Late For Love', 'Promises' and 'Paper Sun' were kept in the setlist which was the same as the one played in Manchester, TN in October.
Joe at one point told the crowd they would "see you again soon" suggesting Sacramento might be on the 2020 North American tour schedule.
Happy 56th Birthday To Rick Allen
Joe led the crowd in singing Happy Birthday to Rick before 'Rock Of Ages' and he also took time to get the crowd to thank the band's road crew which he called "the best in the world".
Rick celebrated his 56th birthday on 1st November. Joe reminded the crowd at last night's show that he had performed aged just 16 in November 1979 when the band opened for AC/DC in London at Hammersmith Odeon.
Last In Line/Vivian Campbell
Vivian performed double duty at the show with Last In Line playing a short opening set.
It included their own 'Starmaker' from the 'Heavy Crown' album as well as the DIO classic 'Rainbow In The Dark'.
Last In Line USA Tour
Unlike his bad mates Vivian had been busy on the road in the last week playing three more shows with Last In Line in Pennsylvania and New York before last night's support show with Def Leppard.
His next show is on 7th November with 17 shows in all planned through November into December. And so far Last In Line also have one show scheduled for March 2020 in Los Angeles.

The 4th anniversary of the release of the Self-Titled DEF LEPPARD studio album took place this week along with Rick Allen's 56th birthday.
