Accident/Recovery

"I had to kind of recommit myself to the music because, you know, I had to play in a different way."

"I stopped comparing myself to how I used to be and I stopped comparing myself to others. I have moments when it's like wow, it would be great you know. But that took the pressure off because there was a realisation that what I was doing was actually quite unique, you know, playing drums in this way."

Artwork/Painting

"I have an eight year old. In fact she's in some of the pieces. the girl on a swing. And seeing her paint and where it took her kind of. It sparked my interest in painting again. And it just inspired me to see her just being so free with painting. No rules."

Legends Series Portraits

"I mean who wasn't inspired by The Beatles and Lennon. I mean I'm still discovering The Beatles."

Drum Artwork

"This is cool. There are drums that I've played at one time or another."

Inspiration

"The power of the human spirit to me is one of the strongest forces there is."

Artwork Exhibitions

"It's a little overwhelming but, you know, I'm just really proud of what I've been able to do. And this is a fantastic way to express myself outside of the music."

His Daughter/Artwork

"This is actually Josie. This is my youngest daughter. And yeah she was really instrumental in getting me back into painting again. I love how she paints. Painting without rules, keeps her in the moment and I recognised the same place I go when I play music. So it pulled me back in."

His Foundation/Charity Work

"That's true yeah. Raven Drum Foundation. 2006 I went to Walter Reid and just, I was so touched by some of our wounded warriors. We decided to refocus and concentrate more on wounded warriors, PTSD because of my own trauma. And now a portion of everything that you see here goes towards some kind of program to help our wounded warriors."

"So anybody that purchases a piece they're involved. They're part of that process. So we're really proud of that."
