Def Leppard's 2019 world tour starts in 7 days time in Solvesborg, Sweden.

The Def Leppard 2019 World Tour will start next week with a return to the Sweden Rock festival.

The 2019 tour had its first show announcement back in September 2018 for the Rockfest in Barcelona, Spain. One of 15 dates to be played in the UK/Europe during the first leg.

The band's first mainland European shows since June 2015.

Currently 39 shows have been confirmed and announced for the main 2019 world tour in 14 different countries.

These updates look at some of the cities being played on the tour continuing with the fourth show in Derby at Donington Park.

The band's return to the Download festival after two previous headline appearances in 2011 and 2009.

This show will also see the final performance of the 'Hysteria' album in full. At least for 2019.

Vivian will open for Def Leppard for the first time as part of Last In Line. He has previously played with many opening acts before the band's own shows including Ricky Warwick, Whitesnake and Black Star Riders.

The first visit to Donington was also Rick Allen's first big show after a short warm-up tour of Ireland in 1986.
