DEF LEPPARD's DOWNLOAD Festival Highlights On SKY Arts TV In July

Def Leppard played the 2019 Download Festival on 14th June and highlights will be broadcast in the UK in early July.

SKY Arts TV will show highlights from the festival on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July.

Presenter Kylie Olsson posted the news on her Instagram page. The channel themselves have not mentioned the date but did post a teaser on Twitter featuring the Def Leppard show intro countdown.

The highlights show is usually around one long and should include 3 to 4 songs from the performance in HD along with an interview as in 2009/2011.

Kylie previously interviewed Joe during the 2011 highlights show and the whole band for the Hysteria At 30 documentary in 2017.

She also interviewed Joe for her Music And Me podcast which was published in 2018.

The Download Festival performance took place on Friday 14th June before over 80,000 fans at Donington Park in Derby, England.

The third time the band have headlined this event.

• Saturday, 6th July 2019 - SKY Arts @ 9pm
• Sunday, 7th July 2019 - SKY Arts @ 9pm

As with 2011 and 2009 probably 3 or four songs broadcast along with an interview during a one hour or 90 minute highlights show.
