DEF LEPPARD 2018 News Recap Part 10 (October)

Welcome to recap of all things Def Leppard in the year 2018 continuing with the month of October.

Another year for the band has ended and these updates look back at the major events that took place over the last 12 months.

2018 became one of the band's most successful touring years for decades with 83 shows played on the main world tour and 84 in total throughout the year.

The 2018 tour with Journey in North America ended with two shows in Los Angeles, CA.

On 9th October the band were included as one of the nominees for the 2019 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction and soon took the lead in the Fan Vote.

A new greatest hits compilation called 'The Story So Far...The Best Of Def Leppard' was announced for November including the new songs 'Personal Jesus (Remix)' and 'We All Need Christmas'. Both songs were released digitally as singles on the same day.

The 'Hysteria The Singles' box set featuring ten seven inch singles was announced on the same day.

A number of new shows were announced for the 2019 UK/European tour in Italy, Czech Republic, Belgium and Sweden. Along with three show supporting Bon Jovi in Denmark and Germany

A third headline show at the Download Festival at Donington Park was also confirmed where the Hysteria album will be played in full.

A second show for 2019 was announced with a return to Donington Park to headline the Download Festival for a third time.

The band played a second show in Honolulu, HI with many changes from night one including playing the full Hysteria album at the start of the show.
