Def Leppard's greatest hits album Rock Of Ages The Definitive Collection album was certified as Platinum in the USA 13 years ago on this day in 2006.

The band's second greatest hits collection had been released on 17th May 2005 in the USA.

The 2CD album entered the Billboard Top 200 chart at Number 10 on 4th June 2005 which was also its peak position.

It sold 64,801 copies in that first week and dropped to 31 a week later.

The release was supported with the Rock Of Ages tour including 26 co-headline shows in outdoor baseball stadiums with Bryan Adams.

A single and video from the album was also released. A cover on Badfinger's 'No Matter What'. A teaser from the 'YEAH!' album which would eventually be released in 2006.

The 'Rock Of Ages The DVD Collection' DVD was certified Gold on 13th January 2006.
