Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell was recently interviewed to promote the second Last In Line album.

Vivian spoke to Joe Divita of Loudwire to promote the new Last In Line album.

Vivian talked about recording the Last In Line I album, songwriting, Vinny Appice, Andrew Freeman, darker lyrics, joining Def Leppard in 1992 and Sweet Savage.

He also explained the lyrical theme of the song 'Year Of The Gun'.

The Last In Line II album was released on Friday 22nd February.

Joining Def Leppard

"Joe Elliott would call me when he came to L.A. looking for a pickup football [soccer to the Americans] game on a Sunday morning. When I was in Dublin, I'd see Joe, we'd go out for drinks or dinner or whatever. So, our relationship had nothing to do with music. I knew the kind of person that Joe is and I think that he kind of knew the person that I am."
