On This Day in Def Leppard History - 27th April, the following concerts and events took place. Including the UK digital release of the 'Songs From The Sparkle Lounge' album on this day in 2008.
The album reached Number 10 in the UK Top 40 album chart. The first all original studio album to do so since 'Slang' in 1996.
The digital release was advertised as being 28th April (as shown on many posters) but was actually released on iTunes UK on the 27th.
On this day in 1997 the final show of the Slang world tour was played in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
