Def Leppard History.

On This Day in Def Leppard History - 5th May, the following concerts and events took place. Including the main UK release of the 'Songs From The Sparkle Lounge' album on this day in 2008.

The album reached Number 10 in the UK Top 40 album chart. The first all original studio album to do so since 'Slang' in 1996. The physical release featured a CD plus a Bonus DVD/booklet featuring the 'Nine Lives' promo video and commentary/interview footage.

Also on this day in 1988 the demo recording of the song 'Tonight' took place at Wisseloord Studios, Holland on a break from the 'Hysteria' world tour.

Recorded in the same week the band filmed the promo video for 'Love Bites'. It was later re-recorded for the 1992 'Adrenalize' album with this demo released as one of the B-Sides for the 'Tonight' single in April 1993.
