DEF LEPPARD's JOE ELLIOTT Performs At The SAMMYS In Orlando, FL

Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott performed at The SAMMYS concert event and awards show on 8th March in Orlando, Florida with photos/videos available.

The SAMMYS (sponsored by Holiday Inn) took place at the Hard Rock Live venue at Universal City Walk in Orlando, FL on 8th March.

Joe's first performance of 2018 and the fourth member to play live this year so far.

A concert event and an industry awards show featuring major artists backed by a house band and described as a "musical extravaganza." with a name inspired by The GRAMMYS.

The same venue played on 30th January by Phil Collen with Delta Deep on the G3 Tour.

Joe performed alongside various musicians from a house band. These may have included those listed on the event website - Lance Hoppen (guitars), Jerry Riggs (guitars), Charlie Morgan (drums), John Jorgenson (guitars), Lane Hoppen (keyboards), Barry Dunaway (bass), Manuel Quintana (percussion) and Jonell Mosser (backing vocals).

'Animal' and 'Foolin' were among the songs Joe performed - video clips available in one of the posts shown.

The clip of Foolin' features lasers - a sign of things to come in May?.

Other performers included Billy Ocean, Art Alexakis (Everclear), Brett Scallions (Fuel), John Cafferty & Michael Antunes (The Beaver Brown Band), The Motels, Expose, Chuck Negron (Three Dog Night).

Billy Ocean and Def Leppard both had albums co-written and produced by Mutt Lange. Billy performed his hit 'Get Out Of My Dreams (And Into My Car)' which also hit Number One in the USA during 1988 along with DL's own 'Love Bites'.

A number of attendees have posted photos and video clips on social media from the event which can be viewed below.

The SAMMYS website does not list Joe or information about this year's event but does have short video clips and photos from previous shows dating back to 2013, so Joe may appear on there soon.

At least two songs were performed with the order unknown. Only the the first two have been 100% confirmed but PSSOM was probably played as well.
