SLYDIGS To Support DEF LEPPARD At Teenage Cancer Trust Show

Def Leppard 2018. Teenage Cancer Trust

Def Leppard are playing a March 25th concert at London's Royal Albert Hall for the Teenage Cancer Trust and a support act has been added.

The show takes place on 25th March at the legendary Royal Albert Hall.

The band's first ever electric headlining performance at the venue having previously performed a playback version of 'PSSOM' here for The Brit Awards on 13th February 1989.

The final show of the annual Teenage Cancer Trust concert series which also features shows by UB40 (19th March), Russell Howard (20th March), Nile Rodgers & Chic (21st March), Roger Daltrey (22nd March), Courteeners (23rd March) and Kasabian (24th March).

UK band Slydigs were (very quietly) announced as the support on February but were not listed on the venue/ticket sites.

The band come from Warrington in Chesire and feature the lineup of Dean Fairhurst (Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar), Louis Menguy (Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals), Peter Fleming (Percussion) and Ben Breslin (Bass/Backing Vocals).

They have released a number of EPs and singles and the album 'Never To Be Tamed' in 2012.

Tickets for the event went on sale on 2nd February at Teenage Cancer Trust website.

This show was announced on 29th January having first been mentioned by both Rick and Phil in December 2017.

Teenage Cancer Trust - March 2018

The first of now three London shows to be played (so far) in 2018 after the second UK tour show was announced on 26th January following the first night at The O2 selling out.

The first full show by the band at this venue. Last played on 13th February 1989 at The Brit Awards (playback).
