Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen was interviewed in Milwaukee, WI in late February and yet more video footage is available.

Phil spoke to Digital Tour Bus before the final show of the G3 Tour.

Phil talked about vocal warm ups, Delta Deep and working out.

Pre-Show Ritual

"Phil Collen. Here's a pre show ritual for you. We do vocal warm-ups. We have this tape that our vocal coach, 20 something, 27 years ago or some, made and it's, it literally warms you up. And we've actually saved, me, Joe or whoever walked into a room and "No you can't speak". It's been like that. You do this warm up tape for about an hour. And it's stuff like just getting - you do that for a half hour or an hour or whatever it is and you'll be amazed you get your voice back."

"And we've actually, back in the day, we would've been cancelling gigs. We have a lot of vocals. And we've started doing it in the Delta Deep thing as well. We actually, it's on my phone, and we just put it in and it makes a massive difference to the vocal thing when you get out there."

"The other thing I do. I do warms ups, I do push ups. I used to train. I used to train Muay Thai kick boxing and we would actually do pads and stuff before I got on. Just to kind of get you in the mood. You know just kind of get you amped up and away you go."
