DEF LEPPARD's HYSTERIA Is Number One Top Catalog Album In USA

Hysteria 1987.

Def Leppard's classic Hysteria, Pyromania and Vault albums have re-entered the US Billboard charts today following their streaming/digital releases.

The albums were released on 19th January on streaming services and digital download sites.

Their increased download sales and online streams have seen them re-enter the main Billboard Top 200 album chart.

'Hysteria' re-entered at Number 39 as the highest of the three. Its first time in the Top 40 since June 1989. The 30th Anniversary Edition had seen it re-enter last August at Number 79.

This takes the album to 135 weeks on the chart since it first entered in August 1987.

'Hysteria' is also the Number 1 Top Catalog Album for this week. 'Vault' entered the same chart for a massive 434th week.

The band have eight new entries on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart. This follows Billboard's report that the catalogue had a massive leap in sales this week of 1,422 percent.

Both 'Hysteria' and 'Vault' re-entered the UK Album Charts on Friday.

'Vault' re-entered at Number 79 for its 67th week on the chart. It peaked at Number 15 in November 1995.

'Pyromania' re-entered at Number 146 for its 123rd week on the chart. It had last re-entered the chart at Number 195 in October 2014 having peaked at Number 2 in May 1983.

The band entered the Top 100 Artists chart at Number 13.
