PHIL COLLEN On DEF LEPPARD's Digital Deal/Second DELTA DEEP Album

Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen has been interviewed to promote the G3 tour whilst in Florida.

Phil spoke to Creative Loafing in Tampa, FL promote the current G3 tour and the 3rd Feb show in St. Petersburg.

Phil talked about the recent digital deal/tour announcement, G3 tour, Delta Deep, playing theatres vs. arenas, audience reaction, working with Joe Satriani/John Pretucci, health and fitness/guitar playing, playing more intimate shows and the second Delta Deep studio album.

Phil briefly mentioned the digital deal and then gave another update on the second Delta Deep album which is currently being worked on. This follows news yesterday that it would be finished and ready for release by the end of 2018.

Delta Deep's East Coast Live 2CD/DVD was released worldwide on 26th January.

"And, we just released the whole Def Leppard catalog digitally through Universal Records and that’s been a deal that we’ve been trying to figure out for the last like 15 years or something so now you can stream or download it all. And, with the Delta Deep album coming out, we actually are going to be playing some of that stuff live that we’re going to incorporate into our show."
