DEF LEPPARD 2018 News Recap Part 4 (April)

Welcome to recap of all things Def Leppard in the year 2018 continuing with the month of April.

Another year for the band is about to end and these updates will look back at the major events that took place over the last 12 months.

2018 became one of the band's most successful touring years for decades with 83 shows played on the main world tour and 84 in total throughout the year.

During this month the Australia and New Zealand tour dates were announced alongside the Scorpions.

A return to Hawaii for the first time since 1983 was also announced along with a second Los Angeles date being added to the main North American tour with Journey.

The 2008 Live At Abbey Road studios session was also released for Record Store Day on 12 inch vinyl.

Just over over 25 years since Mick Ronson's death it was revealed Joe's cover of This Is For You would finally be released on the soundtrack of the Beside Bowie documentary about his life and career.

A second night was added in Los Angeles at the end of the North American tour following the strong ticket sales. 60 shows were now scheduled from May to early October.
