30 Years Ago DEF LEPPARD Bring HYSTERIA Tour To London (Photos)

Def Leppard 1988. Def Leppard 1988

Def Leppard played the second of two shows at Wembley Arena in London, England on this day in 1988 during the Hysteria tour with media photos available.

The 12th April 1988 show was the second of two sold out nights at the iconic venue and photos from were taken by photographer Peter Still.

This was the first time the band had played as a band at the arena. Joe had guested in 1985 at an Elton John show and Phil supported KISS here in 1980 with Girl.

Future Leppard member Vivian Campbell played here for the first time in December 1987.

Whitesnake played three nights here from 29th-31st with McCauley Schenker Group as support who would go on to play with Lep in Europe during March/April 1988.
