  • Location / Porto Alegre, Brazil
  • Venue / Anfiteatro Beira-Rio @ Estadio Beira-Rio

The first show by the band in this city.

The first time at this venue.

The venue is located 3.4 miles to the South West of the city centre and next to the Guaiba River.

It was opened in April 1969 and renovated in 2012 for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

A show first announced locally on 27th April by the promoters and confirmed by the band in May.

The first ever show plated by Def Leppard with The Who.

Joe has previously covered a Who song and performed it during a London charity concert in November 2014.

Anfiteatro Beira-Rio is the name for a smaller setup inside the main Estadio Beira-Rio stadium which holds 51,300 people at full capacity.

The same 14 song setlist played as at the first two Brazilian shows.

The show started about 10 minutes earlier than the advertised 7:45pm start time.
