PHIL COLLEN Produced TESLA Album Stereo Animation Due In Spring 2018

The Tesla album produced by Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen has a title and will be released in Spring 2018.

Tesla guitarist Frank Hannon recently spoke to Robert Cavuoto of My GlobalMind.

Frank talked about touring, health on the road, his solo work, the next Tesla studio album and songwriting.

He mentioned the album will be released in Spring 2018 and has the title "Stereo Animation".

Phil co-wrote and produced their single 'Save That Goodness' which was released in August 2016 and included on the 'Mechanical Resonance Live!' album.

Tesla are currently on their own run of headline shows in the USA following the Def Leppard/Poison tour.

What is the status of the new Telsa CD that Phil Collen is producing?

"The final mixdown is being done. Phil produced it and he did a great job. He was able to take our ideas and turn them into something spectacular. It will be out in the Spring of 2018. I don’t know the title for sure but Phil liked the title Stereo Animation!."

How has the tour been going so far?

"It’s been fantastic. We are playing great venues. We are playing songs that I was playing when I was in my teens. Those songs are still turning people on and that blows me away. We have been going strong 30 years – we are alive and still kicking ass!."
