On This Day in Def Leppard History - 21st September, the following concerts and events took place. Including a show in East Rutherford, NJ during the Hysteria tour on this day in 1988.

This was the first of three sold-out In The Round shows at this venue which were attended by Joe Elliott's parents.

This was the second time the band had played three consecutive nights at a US arena. The first was in Minneapolis, MN in July and the third would be a few weeks later in Atlanta, GA when extra scenes were filmed for the In The Round-In Your Face concert video.

The band begin the 2017 South American Tour tonight in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil at the Rock In Rio festival. This city was last played in April 1997. Check back later for the setlist.
