DEF LEPPARD's PHIL COLLEN To Tour With JOE SATRIANI'S G3 In 2018

Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen will follow the recent G4 Guitar Experience by touring with Joe Satriani in early 2018.

The G3 tour will take place in January and February 2018.

Joe's band will feature both Phil and Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci.

35 shows are to be played across North America starting in Seattle, WA at The Moore Theatre on 11th January 2018.

The tour then wraps up on 25th February in Milwaukee, WI at the Riverside Theater before Phil starts the 2018 Def Leppard tour in May.

Tickets for the tour go on sale on 22nd September and 6th October.

The tour includes cities not played by Def Leppard for many years and some places Phil will be performing in for the first time such as Irving, TX, Pompano Beach, FL and Greensburg, PA. He will also be playing 99% of these venues for the very first time.

Joe has also announced the release of his new solo album 'What Happens Next' for 12th January 2018.

Phil appeared at the 'Joe Satriani's G4 Experience 2017 - 4 Days Of Guitar Magic' in Carmel, CA from July 24th to 28th.

The venue was the Asilomar Conference Grounds.

The event included guitar clinics, demonstrations, jam sessions and performances.

During his solo performance Phil debuted his instrumental track 'Disintegrate' which was originally released in 1999 on the 'Euphoria' album.

The first ever live performance of the song used as intro music on the PA during Def Leppard's 2002/2003 and 2015 live shows.
