Def Leppard 2017. By glzakire

Def Leppard played the final show of the 2017 Tour last night in Monterrey, Mexico with 18 songs performed.<

The show took place in the grounds of the 11,500 capacity Arena Monterrey. Known as Forum Arena Monterrey.

The final show of 2017 and the last of 46 dates played in North, South and Central America since 8th April.

The band last played Monterrey on 6th September 2014 on the Summer 2014 Tour.

The first visit here took place at the in September 1993 on the final leg of the Adrenalize tour.

The first ever concert played by the band in Mexico.

They returned to the same venue in April 1997 on the Slang tour.

The Arena Monterrey was played for the first time in November 2005 on the Rock Of Ages tour. Also the last show of the year's tour.

A second indoor show at this venue was then played on the second Rock Of Ages tour in September 2012 with Poison.

The last visit took place in September 2014 at Parque Acero Fundidora for the Monterrey City Festival.

Def Leppard headlined last night's festival after Aerosmith had pulled out on 26th September due to Steven Tyler's illness.

The same staging used in Mexico City and Guadalajara was used on the outdoor festival stage. The Mexican flag was again displayed on the main video screen as the band posed for the now usual end photo.

Another 18 song setlist was played with no changes. The band arrived on stage at 11:35pm and finished at 1:18am.

Joe's solo version of 'Two Steps Behind' was kept in the setlist after its debut at the last show in Guadalajara.

There was a small mishap at the start of 'Let's Go' with the main video screen not working until one minute into the song at the first chorus when it suddenly burst into life. The two side video screens either side of Rick were working from the start.

I wanna thank our road crew for doing what they do and the locals - make some noise for our crew please. Muchas Gracias."

"And can you make a little bit more noise than that?. A little bit more. A little bit more for the boy at the back. Stand up Rick Allen!. He's gonna introduce this one far ya."
