Def Leppard have today confirmed two new shows in Mexico to take place in early October on the 2017 tour.
After playing a brief South American tour the band will return to Mexico with two dates in Mexico City and Guadalajara.
The Mexico City show takes place on 3rd October at the 22,300 capacity Arena Ciudad de Mexico (Mexico City Arena).
The band's first ever visit to Guadalajara then takes place on 5th October at the 11,500 capacity Auditorio TELMEX.
As any Mexican Lep fan will tell you (Carlos, Pepe!), Guadalajara was on the schedule on two previous tours but cancelled both times in September 1993 and again in November 2005.
They were due to play the Plaza De Toros on 117th November 2005 and the Auditorio Benito Juarez in September 1993. A show that was moved to a different date before being cancelled altogether.
During both of those tours the band only played shows in Mexico City and Monterrey, as they did in 1997, 2012 and 2014.
Tickets for the Mexico City show are on sale on Thursday 11th May at 10am via Superboletos. The Guadalajara show goes on sale via Ticketmaster.com.mx at 11am on the same day.

Note - Local rumours suggest a third show in Monterrey, Mexico for 7th October with "another band". This could well end up being with Aerosmith.
Local fans have said in the last few days that the proposed Santiago, Chile festival date (30th September with The Who) may yet still happen with a possible move away from the Estadio Nacional due to various issues over the organisation.
