PHIL COLLEN Says DEF LEPPARD To Record New Songs In October

Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen was recently interviewed by the Indiana press and mentioned new studio sessions.

Phil talked to Ryan Trares of the Daily Journal.

He talked about touring, Poison/Tesla, fans, favourite song to play live and the band's future plans including recording new songs.

Phil has previously talked about the band releasing either a new song, single, EP and now describes multiple songs being recorded for an "EP album.".

The new sessions will take place after the band complete the short South/Central American tour in October.

He was promoting tonight's show in Indianapolis, IN. The last show of the 2017 North American tour.

"We’ve got South America, do a month down there. Then we have some new songs. We’ve had some new song ideas on the go, and after that we’ll start recording. You don’t have to be in the studio to do it these days; you can get stuff down on your laptop as you go and tweak it like that. That’s exciting, we’ll probably have an EP album for next year."
