"With a doubt or in my case Stevie Wonder. It's like right across the board. Yeah, bit of everything. So yeah without a doubt. He was such a huge influence on me personally and Joe growing up you know. 14 discovering your own kind of thing. He came out with all the orange hair and everything and all the make up and these killer songs. It was just a totally life changing experience really."
Picking Up New Fans/Longevity
"It really does. I think there's a couple of things happening here. There's a last man standing thing. A lot of bands that we grew up with have fallen by the wayside. And you know kind of like I was saying about the health thing. It's applying it. We actually do it. We've taken one year off since I joined the band in 1982. Which is what's that, 34 years?. 35 or whatever it is. So I think that we're getting a bit of a reward at this point in our career by the fact that we're really still into what we do and we're actually consistent about going out and doing it. We keep trying to make the show better and I think it's great to be able to share that."
