DEF LEPPARD Guitarist VIVIAN CAMPBELL Celebrates 55th Birthday

Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell celebrates his 55th birthday today in the USA on a break from touring.

Vivian was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on this day in 1962 to parents Vivian Snr. and Mary.

He recently completed a summer tour with Last In Line in Switzerland and will play US shows with them in September.

He will receive the 'Oh Yeah Legend Award' this November in Belfast which 'recognises the exceptional contribution of a musician or music industry figure from Northern Ireland'.

Joe and Phil recently gave updates on Vivian's health last year and earlier this month.

His old band Riverdogs released thier new studio album 'California' in July.

"Well, I spoke to him the other day and you know every time we have a break he's goes back to top up his situation. You know he goes to see the doctors to see how things are going. And I said to him the other day. I said how is it and he said it's getting better all the time."
