Riverdogs 2017.

The artwork and tracklisting of the new Riverdogs album California featuring Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell have been revealed.

In a flashback to the Def Leppard Slang Deluxe Edition a few years ago, the album tracklisting and artwork have been posted on the HMV Japan website.

The band revealed the release date in a Facebook post on 17th March, St. Patrick's Day. 'California' will be released around the world on Friday 7th July on Frontiers Records.

The album is listed for an earlier 23rd June release in Japan. It is not currently listed on the record company website or by retail sites like Amazon.

Their first new music since the 8 song mini album 'World Gone Mad' in October 2011.

The album includes 11 tracks with a 12th track listed as a bonus on the Japanese release.

The original band, formed in 1989, featured Vivian alongside singer Rob Lamothe, Nick Brophy (bass) and drummer Marc Danzeisen.

The album was mixed in January and Vivian says - "It's a good, power intensive record. It really is. There's so much guitar on the record".

The band recently posted in studio and rehearsal photos from the album sessions on Instagram. Vivian is shown recording background vocals. All lead vocals in Riverdogs are handled by frontman Rob Lamothe.
