On This Day in Def Leppard History - 23rd April, the following concerts and events took place. Including the birth of original guitarist Steve Clark in 1960 who would have celebrated his 57th birthday today.

The band performed twice on Steve's birthday. In 1979 when he turned 19 and again in 1980 on his 20th. Steve sadly passed away in January 1991 during the recording of the 'Adrenalize' album.

The band went on to perform three more times on this date after his death, in 1997 and 2008.

Vivian Campbell played ashow on this day in 2016 in Milan, Italy at the Frontiers Rock Festival with his band Last In Line.

The 'And There Will Be A Next Time...Live From Detroit' concert will be broadcast on US TV later tonight. AXS TV are showing a one hour version at 10pm.
