Def Leppard 2017 Tour Uncasville, CT (Show Report)

Def Leppard played another show on the 2017 North American Tour last night in Uncasville, CT with 17 songs performed.

The show took place at the 7,000 seat Mohegan Sun Arena.

The band's first time in Uncasville since 15th May 2016 on the Summer Tour 2016.

The tenth show the band have played in this city.

The first visit was in June 2005 during the Rock Of Ages tour.

Tesla were also supporting the band at that show.

All ten of the band's visits here have now been at the Mohegan Sun Arena.

Before the 19th September 2006 show the band were inducted into the Mohegan Sun walk of fame.

The 2016 show was originally planned for 13th February but was postponed on 1st February after Joe's vocal issues.

The third year in a row at this venue with shows played in 2015, 2016 and now 2017 in support of the current album.

Two shows were played here in 2005 and 2006 with further visits in 2007, 2008 and 2011.

17 songs were played with all new songs remaining in the set. Phil mentioned during an 11th April radio interview the set would remain the same for this tour leg as they are promoting the 'Live From Detroit' DVD.

'Man Enough' was played in Uncasville for the very first time.

"Thank you very much. I mentioned earlier on how we've played here many, many times. But this is a strange one because go on hands up, who lives here?. OK who doesn't live here?. Seems there's more than I thought. I got it f**king wrong then didn't I. This is an amazing gig, we love coming here because it always seems to be a noisy crowd and we love that. So thank you.
