Scheduled shows in the city were cancelled in both 1993 on the Adrenalize tour and again in 2005 on the Rock Of Ages tour.

The venue is an indoor amphitheatre and was opened in September 2007 and originally known as the Auditorio Metropolitano. It is located in Zapopan, a Metropolitan area within the city of Guadalajara.

Joe played his solo version of 'Two Steps Behind' for the first time since December 2015 making an 18 song set.
