Def Leppard ended their Adrenalize world tour in Mexico City in September 1993 and press conference video footage is available.

The band ended the tour in the city with two shows on 28th and 29th September 1993.

On the 27th September the band held a charity football match and press conference which was used to launch the 'Retro-Active' album.

The band, including Rick Allen, and members of their touring crew played against a local team before being interviewed by the Mexican press.

They won the six-a-side game 8-5 playing on an indoor pitch and wearing red 'Retro-Active' T-Shirts. Joe scored four of the goals. Some of the staff are seen wearing these T-Shirts at the start of the video.

The event was sponsored by Coca-Cola and the venue was decorated with 'Retro-Active' promo posters and the companies logo.

The video shows the band inside the venue preparing for the press conference as music is played through the PA.

They talk about the cover art for 'Retro-Active', not using the In The Round stage in Mexico, the Mexican audiences, the 1998 football world cup qualifying, their football team, the 'Retro-Active' album, their musical influences, Vivian talks about his past bands (and gets caught smoking), radio and British bands.

You'll notice Joe and Rick laughing at Vivian's DIO references.

This video was tagged on to the end of the 1997 Mexico City fan shot DVD but has never been posted online before now.
