Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott has been interviewed by Houston radio and the AUDIO is available.

Joe talked about his vocal issue recovery, the 2016 summer tour with REO Speedwagon/Tesla, the latest Def Leppard album, his song writing, PSSOM, David Bowie/Mott The Hoople, the Down 'n' Outz and the March 2001 Houston Rodeo show.

At least judging by the audio of DJ Jennifer Tyler it appears he talked about those topics.

Listen carefully, very carefully and perhaps you can hear some of Joe's words...;)

Their (one sided) conversation took place on 9th March.

"Listen" to the full 12 minute interview below.

Jennifer Tyler - Joe Elliott Interview Quotes

His Recovery From Vocal Issues

"Yeah well we're not going out on the road until May. But yeah I got injured, that's what it was. Not like through over extending myself. I just got ill over Christmas...."

Joe's audio goes silent from then on and you can't really make out anything for the next 11 minutes apart from the odd word here and there.

Updated - The full audio with proper sound has now been posted.
