Delta Deep's Debbi Blackwell-Cook Says Second Album Is Already Written

Debbi Blackwell-Cook from Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen's side band Delta Deep has been interviewed by Glide Magazine.

Debbi spoke to Glide Magazine about how she started singing, her career in music and the history of Delta Deep.

She also repeated what Phil has previously said about the band having songs ready for a second studio album.

A live album called 'West Coast Live' is due to be released this summer having been recorded during the January/February shows in California.

Delta Deep were recently confirmed to play the Riverbend Festival on 18th June in Chattanooga, TN.

They had already announced an East Coast run for their ongoing Sugar Shack tour which kicks off on 28th March in Washington D.C..

How Delta Deep came together/Future Album Plans

"But originally, it was just me and Phil and that’s how it started. I heard the music he was playing and I just started humming and then I started singing and then we came together with the words and we put that down. Next thing we know we’re putting down “Burnt Sally.” Then we were putting down some other things that we had written. Most of “Burnt Sally” came from Helen but we all collaborated and it was just amazing how all the songs just started coming."
