Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott hosted another edition of his weekly radio show last night on Planet Rock.

"Now another four piece band that would go on to release solo records. Albeit after their success. Were The Beatles and who'd have thought that the first one of them to have a big hit. Would have been this guy. This is Ringo Starr."

"A phenomenal live version of that particular song there by Ian Hunter. Recorded live at The Roxy club on the Sunset Strip back in 1979 and released 1980 the double live album Welcome To The Club. The song originally featured on the Mott The Hoople album Mott 1973, it's called I Wish I Was Your Mother."
Styx
"We've toured with Styx many times and I have to say one of the highlights of their live show is that particular song because it actually really rocks very hard when they play it live. That is Styx there with a song called Miss America."
David Bowie
"As pure power intros go, they don't get much better than that particular song. It was played by Mick Ronson and it's from an album callee Aladdin Sane from 1973 by David Bowie."
