Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott attended a show by David Bowie in Dublin, Ireland 29 years ago on this day in 1987.
Joe was pictured at the Slane Castle concert with his then girlfriend Karla Ramdhani who he later married in October 1989.
The concert just outside Dublin was attended by over 50,000 fans.
It was part of his massive Glass Spider tour in support of the 'Never Let Me Down' album which ran from May to November 1987 with 86 shows played.

Def Leppard were in the middle of a promo tour at this time and gearing up for the release of the 'Animal' single after three warm-up shows in Holland at the end of June.
David passed away on 10th January this year in New York after losing his battle against cancer.
