Def Leppard announced their 2016 summer tour with REO Speedwagon/Tesla earlier today and some rare cities have been included.
The band will return to many cities they haven't played for years on the tour which kicks off in June.
Joining the band will be REO Speedwagon and Tesla who also play multiple shows in May. Most of which were rescheduled from January/February.
Opening band Tesla have an interesting history with many of the cities the band will be returning to.
The show in Tacoma, WA will also have a special significance for the band.

Def Leppard 2016 Summer Tour - Live History
Last played on 27th October 1988. The final show of the Hysteria world tour. Also the last full live show played by original guitarist Steve Clark. He would only play a handful of TV appearances after this from early 1989 up to September 1989. All of these appearances were playback only including the the 1989 MTV Video Music Awards.
The band had also played here in December 1987 supported by Tesla. Their first time in the city.
Last played on 30th July 2003 on the X/Ten tour.
Last played on 24th August 2008 on the Songs From The Sparkle Lounge tour.
15th August 2008 on the Songs From The Sparkle Lounge tour. The first headline show here outside of the New York State Fair since the August 1993 show at War Memorial Arena.
Last played on 25th June 2005 on the Rock Of Ages tour. Tesla were also the opening act at that show. Their first run of shows with DL since the Hysteria tour.
Last played on 12th June 2003 on the X/Ten tour.
Last played on 31st August 2005 on the Rock Of Ages.
Last played on 2nd August 1983 on the Pyromania tour. The bands stay in the city was notable for the incident where a female fan tried to get into Rick Savage's hotel window. Often cited by Sav as one of his most memorable tour moments.
The 8th city played by the band in the USA. The band supported Pat Travers on 28th May 1980.
The 2016 show will only be the second time the band have headlined in Eugene.
Last played on 23rd August 2000 on the Euphoria tour. The second of two shows in the city on that tour.
Last played on 23rd August 1992 on the Adrenalize tour. The second of two In The Round shows on that tour at the aptly named Savage Hall.
Last played on 21st December 2002 on the X/Ten tour.
