Def Leppard played a 2016 Summer Tour show last night in Bristow, VA with 17 songs performed.

The show took place at the 25,000 capacity Jiffy Lube Live.

The band's first time in Bristow since 2nd July 2015 on the 2015 world tour.

The ninth show the band have played in Bristow.

The first visit here took place in July 1996 during the Slang tour with Tripping Daisy as support.

All nine shows have been played at the same venue.

They did not return to Bristow until October 2005 with Bryan Adams on the Rock Of Ages tour.

This was the first of three shows in three years with return visits in July 2006 and August 2007 during the YEAH! and Downstage Thrust tours.

Last night's show also completed the second time the band have played here three times in three consecutive years after the shows in 2014 and 2015.

The other shows took place in 2009 and 2011 when the venue name changed to Jiffy Lube Live. It was previously sponsored by Nissan and called the Nissan Pavilion.

The same setlist was played once again with 'Man Enough' staying in the set. As noted by Joe the show was played in very hot temperatures.

Tesla did not appear at this show due to an illness that has caused them to also miss the next two shows in Atlanta, GA and Raleigh, NC. Joe explained that singer Jeff Keith is experiencing vocal issues at the moment and needs at least a week off.

Joe Elliott - Phil Collen/Dangerous Intro

"Oh yeah. Good evening Bristow!. How we doing?. How we doing?. I think the phrase is f**k me, it's hot!. It's a hot one. Are you ready for this?. You're gonna get a bit of everything tonight people. Some old. Some new. Some borrowed. Nothing much blue except bits of ya scarf. This here is my very good friend Mr. Phil Collen. He's gonna introduce one of our more recent compositions from the latest album. This one is called Dangerous."

Joe Elliott - Vivian Campbell/Armageddon It Intro

"Thank you. Let's have a look at you. Now look at this. Look who's here. Look who's here. (drumbeat) Calm down. Calm down. Not yet. No, this boy here all the way, originally, from Northern Ireland. The boy who puts the fast in Belfast. Ladies and gentleman can you make a lot of noise please for a very happy and healthy Vivian Campbell."

Joe Elliott - Pre-Rock Of Ages Speech

"Thank you. Thank you very much. Noticeable absentee tonight. Tesla. Jeff, their singer Jeff's he was a - he's got blood on his vocal cords. So he's having to take a couple of days actually about a week or so. So let's send Jeff Keith some love shall we."

"I know what these vocal issues are like so fingers crossed he'll be alright. See just like us. Tesla, we've known those guys since 1987. We've toured with them nay many times. They're one of the greatest bands in the world. I know you missed them tonight. But thanks to REO Speedwagon who played a little longer tonight which is cool."

"It's what's known in the business as getting on with it. You see. we've been around as I said earlier this evening for a long time. And you know as well as we do. If you've followed this band for a long time. That you go through ups and downs and hopefully you rise back up when you do go down. But the spirit that you need to do that. Nobody on this stage epitomises that more than this boy at the back here. Stand up Rick Allen. And as ever he will introduce this one for ya."

Joe Elliott - End Of Show Speech

"Bristow. Thanks for coming. Thanks for having us. Thanks for being here. See you next time. Goodnight!."
